In order to optimize performance, Web browsers store frequently accessed website resources locally on your computer, a technique called caching. These resources can include HTML files, style sheets, JavaScript code, images, and other static content.
Browser caching, while fantastic for performance, can become a problem for websites with frequent feature releases - like Vantage. For example, users might see an outdated version of the website if their browsers continue serving cached code instead of checking if the server has anything new. This can lead to features not working as intended, bugs persisting, or visual inconsistencies.
The following simple instructions will guide you through the quick process to make sure your browser is loading the latest version of Vantage. These instructions work for both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.
For Apple Laptops and Desktops
- Return to Vantage: https://www.npi-digital.com

- In the Run > command prompt, type "clear site data" and press Enter or press the "Resources" button. There are 2 options available for clearing site data. Either one will work.
