Overview

Vantage Pro provides configurable notifications to help users stay informed about renewal timelines and deal activity. Notifications can be set at both the vendor and deal levels.

Vendor-Level Notifications

Vendor-level notifications are driven by negotiation runway settings within Supplier Dynamics.

NPI Negotiation Runway

The NPI Negotiation Runway is a standard setting based on NPI’s experience with each supplier.

• Automatically enabled for all Supplier Dynamics vendors
• Used to trigger renewal-related alerts

Custom Runway

If the default runway does not meet your planning needs, you can configure a Custom Runway:

1. Navigate to Supplier Dynamics
2. Select Set Custom Runway
3. Choose a timeframe (up to 18 months)
4. Save your selection

Once saved:

• The Custom Runway replaces the NPI Negotiation Runway
• The default runway is disabled for that vendor

To remove a Custom Runway:

• Click the delete icon
• Confirm deletion
• The system will revert to the NPI Negotiation Runway

Deal-Level Renewal Reminders

Deal-specific reminders are configured from the Smart Calendar.

To set a renewal reminder:

1. Locate the deal in Smart Calendar
2. Click the bell icon in the Alert column
3. Choose a Red Zone or Orange Zone reminder
4. Save your selection

The reminder will be sent to the deal owner at the selected time.
